Absolutes

Is an absolute absolutely necessary? Why is there an urge to be judgmental about things and have binary opinions, when there are so many shades of grey?
Is there a tendency to believe things prima facie, or we tend to believe the existing faiths, beliefs rules and laws as the natural order of things.
The 'rights' the 'wrongs', the 'goods' and the 'bads' are often used to make a judgement call. Ok! fair enough!...... one has to make a judgement.. because any choice, or any decision one makes is based on this judgement.
But my point of contention is ..why do we consider our judgement as an absolute treatment of a 'subject'. Is a right...... an 'absolute' right? Our hindu marriage act endorses monogamy..and even we have been always taught that a man should be like Lord Rama..who was completely devoted to his wife....and a righteous dude would be devoted to his wife for 7 births..(yeah right!)....
But isn't man by nature has been polygamous...his natural tendency to look for potential mates to spread his genes..even some tribes in rajasthan authorize polygamy...there are many instances of polygamy in hindu mythology and some religions too support it...
...A dusky person...would be a 'gori chamdi' in africa, a prohibition in one country would be a
legal right in another.....A rectangle, a circle and triangle would all appear to be a straight line..when viewed parallel to their length(in 2 dimensions)
So is it possible that our perception is three dimensional...when we actually are living in a four dimensional world???
..Is it right to say something is 'right' (the statement is oxymoron!!)..just because things have been like that...! or are we scared to question a 'belief'...or we just follow the herd..isn't it possible we are just living in a matrix.
Matrix as Morpheous mentioned...
"The Matrix is all around us. Its the world that has been pulled over your eyes to blind you from the truth that you are a slave in a prison that you cannot smell, taste or touch. A prison for your mind. No one can be told what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself."
The arguments to what constitutes absolutes and relatives would always continue
Is the supreme power.. the only absolute 'truth'..... and his form, gender, names are customized for many religions..being their 'relative truth'....
May be not...the absolutes might be reposed with the atheists and the agnostics.....or there might be another fourth dimension to it..
